CHS After School Site Coordinator
Tuesday-Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Starts: 03/03/2025, Ends: 06/13/2025
$30.01-$40.52/hour DOE
Closes February 27, 2025

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Collaboratively schedules, plans, directs and delivers a site-specific extended school day program
Recruits and retains students, staff, families and volunteers
Develops schedules for students and staff and ensures materials and curriculum needed are available in a timely manner
Effectively coordinates with school-day staff regarding specific student needs
Communicates with parents, staff and administrators through emails, and phone calls
Ensures the implementation of an effective student management (behavior) system consistent with school and district student management systems
Teaches, tutors and supervises students as needed
Collaborates with program director, staff, administrators to maintain ongoing assessment and evaluation activities to meet record-keeping and reporting requirements
Potential for teaching and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or more than 6 years of experience working successfully with academically
struggling students in a school setting
Demonstrates ability to relate positively with diverse youth and adults
Strong communication skills and ability to work as a collaborative team member
Strong management and organizational skills
Strong computer and technology skills including record-keeping and data input
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching license
Recent experience teaching students
Speak, understand and write Spanish
Familiarity with computer based educational coursework
