2024-25 Salary: $55,459 - $102,527
2025-2026 Salary Schedule will use schedule above + State IPD (TBD) + 2%

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Washington State teaching certificate with a CTE endorsement (or the ability to obtain one for 7-12) with the

    ability to teach courses such as: agriculture classes, welding, fabrication, mechanics, Computer Aided Drafting,

    and industrial arts

  • Demonstrate ability to articulate, plan, and implement a balanced program to include, but not limited to, classroom

    instruction, laboratory work and Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)

  • Commitment to participate in extracurricular activities

  • The ability to effectively communicate with students on both subject matter and safety procedures around shop

    and agriculture equipment

  • Demonstrate ability to integrate technology into the classroom

  • Demonstrate ability to implement effective formative and summative assessment practices that promote student engagement and learning growth

  • Demonstrate ability to relate positively and productively with a variety of students, staff, parents and community

  • Demonstrate ability to articulate and implement teaching practices that develop the social and emotional intelligence of high school students

  • Demonstrate ability to productively collaborate with colleagues in a Professional Learning Community environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates that hold CTE Agricultural Education endorsement

  • Knowledge of working within an extended period classroom

  • Willingness to articulate and align with a local community college

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
