Henkle Middle School and Columbia High School both have Canned Food Drives going this week!
At Henkle, students who bring 6 items will get entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes. Bonus Items of the day are worth double!
Here are the bonus items:
Monday: Canned fruits & veggies
Tuesday: Canned meats and soups
Wednesday: Beans, rice, pasta, and cereal
Thursday: hygiene items
Friday: spices & sauces (tomato products too).
Columbia students are having a competition between first period classes with breakfast prepared by NHS as the prize! Here's how items will be counted: 1 can/box = 1 count; 10 top ramens/cup of noodles = 1 count; 1 pkg of tea = 1 count (not individually counted). Additionally, NHS and FFA members will be collecting items on Saturday, December 9 from 9am - 11am.
All donations from both food drives will go to WAGAP.
